The pellets were co-combusted with bagasse in different ratios, i.e., 1%, 3% and 5% by mass. Combustion efficiency, outlet steam pressure and temperature were compared with the case of bagasse. The results showed that 1% and 3% filter cake pellets gave approximately 91% combustion efficiency which is similar to the case of pure bagasse.
Bagasse pellets coming from the pellet mill are cooled in the counter-current cooler, where the pellets temperature can be cooled down by 30-40 degree Celsius; The dust and unformed stuff is separated by the vibrating or rotary sifter; Integrated Cooler & Sieve. Bagasse Pellet Cooler
Some sugar mill owners sell their excess bagasse pellets to other factories with boilers or export them to foreign countries. Recently many East Asian countries such as China have started imported large quantities of bagasse pellets. An average size power plant usually consumes over 10,000 tonnes of bagasse pellets every month.
Introduction: . XGJ850P Wood Pellet Mill is mainly using for press different kind of biomass materials to making cylinder shape fuel pellets. The pellets are widely using for industry boiler, different kind of biomass stove, and also home use fireplace or hot air stove.
For making bagasse into fuel, a pellet mill is required. Firstly, the bagasse is processed into powder. There are a die and a set of rollers inside the pellet mill. The rotary roller will press the bagasse powder out of the hole of the die into small granules. Outside of the mill, there will be cutters to shorten the granule with the length ...

The moisture of fresh sugar can bagasse is about 48~50%, to solidify the bagasse, the first step is to dry the bagasse to the moisture of less than 12%, otherwise the moisture extra would be evaporated while heating and pressing, resulting in the pellets craze and rough in surface.
Features of Sugarcane Bagasse to Make Biomass Pellet Bagasse, is just garbage, whereas the gospel of energy. As a kind of biomass, bagasse can be converted into meritorious fuel, becoming a type of energy resource. Meanwhile, studies have shown that bio-fuels made from bagasse, are generally considered to be beneficial for the …
Pelletizing process: ring die pellet mill is the core equipment in pellet plants. It is the machine which mould the materials into regular pellet products. After the former pretreatment processes, the bagasse materials can be feed into the ring die pellet mill directly. Normally, each ring die pellet mill can produce 2-3 tons bagasse pellet per ...
